Funds received from the annual good
will stewardship of our members will be used as the operating base to finance our chapter
ministries and programs, as well as existing ministries and programs at diocesan and
national levels.
Each of us is free to make an offering according to our faith in Philoptochos mission and our personal financial resources. Through our commitment, we are able to offer our support to the educational, missionary, and philanthropic ministry of our Church, both locally and nationally, and to explore new avenues in our never-ending mission to reach out to those in need. Our Church has no means of providing for these vital programs other than from Stewards such as ourselves.
"It is in giving that we receive ." God promises that when we give, He gives in return. The more we give of our time, talents, and resources, the more he gives to us. His gifts enable us to continue to give, and the cycle goes on and on . That is the truth of Christian Stewardship!
Financial stewardship for Philoptochos should be submitted to the Treasurer between by October of each year. If you are new to the parish, you can become a member of Philoptochos when you join the Ascension of Our Lord Parish.
