ORTHODOX CATECHISM COURSE
Ascension of Our Lord Parish teams up each fall and winter with our sister church Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview to offer a course on the Orthodox faith. Classes are open to all, but especially to those interested in joining the Orthodox faith through Baptism and/or Chrismation.
This 12-week course takes place at SS. Peter & Paul (1401 Wagner Rd, Glenview, IL 60025), but there is a virtual remote option for those living outside of the north suburbs of Chicago. There is no charge for the course, which is offered as a joint ministry of the North Vicariate of the Chicago Metropolis. The fall course is held on Monday evenings from 7-9 p.m. In the winter/early spring, the course repeats and takes place on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.

FALL 2026 CATECHISM COURSE
The Fall 2026 "Introduction to Orthodox Christianity" course will begin September 15th and will meet at SSPP Glenview from 7-9 p.m. through December 8. See the calendar and registration link below.
