Byzantine Music Classes
This new ministry at Ascension teaches traditional Orthodox Ecclesiastical music to people who have a basic level of experience in singing. Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced students take place on Saturdays from 4 – 5 p.m. (see schedule below). The course is free and students are welcome to join at the chanter’s stand to chant the 5 p.m. Vespers service directly after the lessons.
