Celebration of Giving
2025-2026
On June 2, 2026, nearly 60 parishioners and members of Ascension's Philoptochos gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the past ministry year and our sisterhood, which is rooted in faith, fellowship, philanthropy, and service. It was a joy to spend the evening sharing conversation, laughter, and friendship while reflecting on the many lives touched through our ministry.
To our Board of Directors, thank you for your leadership, dedication, and countless hours of service throughout the year. Your commitment behind the scenes makes so much of our work possible.
To our members, thank you for generously sharing your time, talents, resources, and hearts. Every event, outreach project, donation, and act of kindness has helped strengthen our parish and serve those in need.
We are also grateful to Fr. Sotiri, Fr. Jim, and Fr. Alex who joined us for this special evening. A special thank you to Fr. Sotiri for his spiritual guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout the year. We are truly blessed by his leadership.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our generous sponsors and donors for helping us to further our mission, to help those in need. Your partnership is key; it helps us to reach many more people. On June 12, 2025 at the Philoptochos Celebration of Giving Dinner, we announced the people and organizations, we have supported this Ecclesiastical Year. We invited 7 of the local organizations to come to the dinner, see what we are all about, and accept their check in person. It was a lovely and very moving evening!
