ENCOUNTER THE WORD
Created in 2018, this ministry gives men the opportunity in a casual setting to study God's Word and explore, discuss and share perspectives on different Bible readings.
Encounter the Word Men's Bible Study Ministry just completed its study of 1 Timothy and will begin the exploration of 2 Timothy, beginning in May, and continue dissecting lessons from Paul's Pastoral Epistle in which he guides Timothy through pastoral challenges and questions. Meetings take place from 6 - 7 a.m. in Ascension's Conference Room, to accommodate participants who work. See our winter/spring 2023 meeting dates below. The Orthodox Study Bible, or Orthodox Study Bible app, is a good companion for this ministry.
